Dear Students,
However a great man conducts himself, common man will follow . Accordingly
whatever standards he sets by his actions, others will follow his footsteps. Late
Jai Narayan Gupta was one such example for all of us to emulate.
A business magnet, was born in 1906 in a small village Baiga- Block Gannaur,
district Sonipat, Haryana. A self made man did his high school from Hindu
College & graduation from Delhi in 1930. Facing short of funds, he took a job in
bank, further influenced by the independence movement, he left his job and
decided to start his business of his own and shifted to Dehradun in 1933 and got
an experience of selling cars and trucks for about 10 years.
In 1944, he took a dealership of General Mottors and then Tata Mottors in 1954.
Taking up his business very seriously his high priority was philanthropy and
always had given focus to community development. This he had developed
during his student days at Hindu College, for which he was also acknowledged &
appointment in the management Committee.
Along with other CSR activity he took a plunge on his own to build a modern
dharamshala, which was considered best at that time in the country. Today Jai
Narayan Charitable Trust has an excellent record of various community
development activities in the field of health, education, and sports in
Uttrakhand, UP, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh & Maharashtra.
Welcome to the Jai Narayan Family
